[EN] Rare and elegant functional metal sculpture that serves both as an exclusive decorative art piece and a sophisticated napkin holder. This piece is hand-signed with a sharp engraving by the renowned Italian sculptor and designer Vincenzo Missanelli (1954-2023), who was a long-time professor at the prestigious Fine Arts Academies of Florence and Brera. Characterized by the iconic Italian Postmodern design movement from the late 1980s / early 1990s, it features two wide curved bands with a stunning polished gold mirror finish and a contrasting satin central plate. The original grey protective felt on the bottom is fully intact. - Material: Heavy metal with polished & satin gold finish - Dimensions: 15.5 cm x 11.0 cm x 8.7 cm - Condition: Very good vintage condition. It shows light, widespread surface micro-scratches on the central plate and minor oxidation marks on the edges consistent with age and authentic vintage nature (please refer to the pictures). - Shipping: Worldwide tracked shipping available from Florence, Italy. --- [IT] Rara ed elegantissima scultura metallica funzionale, concepita sia come elemento d'arte decorativo sia come raffinato portatovaglioli d'autore. L'opera è firmata tramite incisione diretta sul metallo dal noto scultore e designer italiano Vincenzo Missanelli (1954-2023), storico docente presso le Accademie di Belle Arti di Firenze e Brera. Tipico esempio della corrente postmoderna italiana a cavallo tra la fine degli anni '80 e l'inizio degli anni '90, l'oggetto presenta due ampie fasce curve con finitura dorata a specchio e una piastra centrale satinata. Il feltro protettivo grigio originale sul fondo è perfettamente integro. - Condizioni: Buonissime condizioni vintage. Presenta diffusi micro-graffi superficiali sulla piastra centrale e piccolissimi segni di ossidazione sul bordo coerenti con il tempo.
