1980s Herda Desk Lamp
Dutch Design Post-Modern table lamp by Herda, 1980s. Minimalist lamp made of metal and wood. Herda Lighting Company, founded in 1946 in Amsterdam by the Daniels brothers. Designers who worked for Herda were Willem van Oyen Sr., Jaap Tiepel, Dirk Heyman, and Marga van Dijk. The Herda Light Company was forced to cease production on June 24, 1997, due to bankruptcy.
