Beautiful portrait of a sweet owl. Title: "Autumn 4." This painting was created quite recently, in 2025. This painting is a continuation of a series of four portraits from the "Autumn" series, and the final one, as a conclusion to the "Dutch Birds" series; portraits of Dutch birds, created during the coronavirus period. This inspired me to look at nature through a magnifying glass. Magnifying the small! Painted by Britt Kleiberg 1980, Amersfoort. Studio located in Harderwijk. Britt paints animals from all over the world with a story. During the coronavirus period, she has put Dutch birds in the spotlight! - She graduated in Graphic Design and Styling before finding her calling in contemporary art. Born into a family with a healthy interest in art, she was exposed to art from an early age and began painting at the age of 10. She enjoyed visiting museums and is grateful for the early training she received. It has provided the background for her current journey as a contemporary artist. Positivity, colors and freedom to move The use of color is an important part of her artistic vocabulary: "Colors make people happy and I want to bring joy and positivity into the world. Her color palette can represent an animal's natural environment, a hunt or an emotion; depending on what she wants to communicate. And however more subdued, the background is also part of this. She uses strange little shapes of color to 'fill' her animals. These represent imaginary continents," she explains, "and can represent the areas where the animal belongs, or where it wants to be. In my artistic world, anything is possible." See more: www.britt-art.nl
