◼ HISTORY & DESIGN
A complete duo from the 1970s, attributed to the French designer Michel Dumas, known for his Plexiglas pieces published by Roche Bobois.
The Plexiglas is tinted in a marbled amber imitating tortoiseshell — the quintessential Hollywood Regency motif.
The volumes remain strictly geometric, without any curves. A thin brass strip crowns the upper edges of both pieces and gives the set its line.
