The Braun T 23 is a rare, iconic vintage portable radio, designed by influential industrial designer Dieter Rams between 1960 and 1962.
Also known as the "Kofferempfänger" (Coffee Case Holder), the T 23 is a classic example of functional, minimalist, and timeless German design.
The controls are minimalist, with white thumbwheels for volume and tone, and a blue tuning knob.
Includes a brown leather carrying strap.
Dimensions: 22.5 cm (H) x 20.5 cm (W) x 9.5 cm (D).
What's special about this model is that it receives four short (SW) and one medium wave (BC) frequencies.
Couldn't test it because the batteries are missing, but the interior looks good.
One or two cracks in the back bars (picture 18), minor damage to the back/top (picture 19), and some discoloration on the top left side, but this might be polishable (see picture 20). Otherwise, it's in good condition.
