This playful shelving unit was designed and made by a master furniture maker from Haarlem and was originally designed to be placed above and over a low radiator. It is the twin brother of a shelving unit that will be coming along with the upcoming move.
The cabinet is made of scaffolding wood and features a low section with an upper section that can be placed on the cabinet at any width. You can therefore position the cabinet narrower or wider depending on the space and your preference.
The base cabinet is 100 cm wide, 39 cm deep, and 76 cm high.
The compartments are 172 cm wide, 19 cm and 29 cm deep, and 236 cm high.
Can be used as a wall unit, bookcase, or room divider. I have enjoyed it for years thanks to the mix of functionality and playfulness.
