Beautiful, large Space Age bowl designed by Pino Spagnolo for Sicart Italy. Model 307. Made in the 1970s. Rare model. A whopping 35 cm in diameter and 5 cm high. Neatly marked on the bottom with the original label.
Pino Spagnolo is a versatile and visionary Italian designer whose work encompasses a broad spectrum of design, from household goods to transportation and architecture. His career, which began in the mid-20th century, is characterized by a deep understanding of form, function, and the technical aspects of industrial design. Spagnolo founded Sigma Design in 1975 and later Pino Spagnolo Design in 1988, where he built a reputation for designing objects that elevate the everyday to art.
