In 1923, he opened a flower shop in The Hague called "Sheherazade," and had the ceramics for the shop produced by the Amphora pottery. In 1925, he started his own workshop in Wassenaar, where he primarily produced vases. In 1938, he founded the "Groeneveldt Aardewerkfabriek" in Voorschoten, which operated until 1972. In the last ten years of his life, he created many unique pieces, working from his home in Voorschoten. Sustainable and environmentally conscious. By complementing your interior with vintage items, you're doing a good thing. No new raw materials are needed for these products. When you choose vintage, you're using what already exists, which makes them sustainable. You might not be giving these objects a second life, but even a third or fourth. Vintage products are high-quality and, for good reason, last for several lives. Behind every vintage product is a story. The often minimal signs of wear offer a glimpse into the life of the previous owner. The extent of these signs of wear is stated in the description. Photos are part of this description. Please review them carefully. Vintage (read: used) items sometimes exhibit color variations, uneven wear, and/or normal wear. Please keep this in mind when purchasing. If you would like to view the item first, that is certainly possible. Feel free to contact me to schedule an appointment. Do you live too far away or don't have suitable transportation? We always offer shipping, delivery, or courier options. The item will be carefully packaged for shipping to prevent damage. I ship in recycled and environmentally friendly boxes.
