Product description
Elegant extendable dining table designed by Pieter De Bruyne for AL Meubel / V-Form, Belgium, 1960s. A strong example of early Belgian modernist design with clean architectural lines, refined proportions, and smart functionality.
Executed in warm teak veneer with a beautiful linear grain pattern, slender chrome legs, and an integrated butterfly extension system. The tabletop slides out along guides, after which the hidden extension leaf, which is mounted on internal hinges, is simply folded upwards and slides in with it. This eliminates the need for separate extension leaves, keeping the design sleek and functional.
The combination of warm wood tones and the light chrome base creates a timeless look that fits perfectly in both mid-century and modern interiors.
This table comes from a matching dining set together with the large Pieter De Bruyne model 167/6 credenza sideboard, further enhancing its provenance and collectible value.
