Piet Hein Eek XL design pendant lamp, a Dutch Design classic - Unique early work!! Originating from the former Bisschop Bekkers Lyceum in Eindhoven. Piet Hein Eek furnished this school with his furniture, including this lamp. It was his early days, and he adapted his models based on customer feedback. All lamps were custom-made for the school - it is unique work. This designer pendant lamp with an industrial look is made of galvanized/zinc-plated metal with an on/off switch on the side. NOTE: This is an empty "lampshade." You can fill it yourself with, for example, the oh-so-exemplary LED. The non-functional insert is partially present for two fluorescent fixtures to show that they were mounted at four points. The bottom, where the frosted glass was once located, is missing but can be replaced with plastic or glass. These glass panels were loose. Further condition: The galvanized metal parts are in very good condition. Normal signs of wear related to age. Comes with two metal rods that can be removed using Allen screws, with the power supply running through one end. Suspension: Each rod is fitted with a round overbush at the top, which clamps over the suspension rods using an Allen screw. These were suspended from a false ceiling, hence the reason. Further suspension is available upon request from PHE, so you can provide it yourself. Dimensions: 262 L x 13.5 W x 16 H (additional information: the overbushing is 4 cm high and the suspension rods are approximately 180 cm long).
