Designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort in 1962, this cognac leather F-444 chair features sharp lines and an angled open seat that gives the illusion of floating. The combination of a metal frame and rich cognac leather creates a bold contrast and a distinctly modern look. The chair’s frame is supported by a beam structure and saddle leather.
The cognac leather shows signs of age and use, developing a rich patina, particularly at the corners where it meets the frame. However, the chair remains in good condition.
