Pierre Jeanneret’s Demountable Daybed, Model No. PJ-L-01-A, was designed around 1955–1956 for the student halls and private residences of Panjab University in Chandigarh. A prime example of modernist design, this piece reflects Jeanneret’s collaboration with Le Corbusier in shaping the architecture and furniture of the city.
