“PH 5” pendant in white-lacquered metal, white interior with colored inner reflector; Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, 1960s.
Designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen, the “PH 5” is a Danish modern classic. Its layered shade system spreads light evenly while preventing glare, giving the piece its balanced, sculptural presence. The exterior is white-lacquered metal; the white interior features the model’s characteristic colored reflector that refines the light quality. Vintage example from the 1960s. Age-consistent wear: the rim shows some bends and there are typical marks to the paint.
