Very pretty small Venetian art glass vase, characteristic of the Murano glass tradition, featuring a remarkable floral murrine decoration. The piece offers a superb palette of turquoise blue, green, yellow, and opaline white, with delicate transparency and material effects that particularly highlight the floral motifs. Its very elegant and original shape is distinguished by a wide flared opening, a rounded body, a strongly constricted waist, and a narrow base. Period: Mid-20th century, circa 1940–1960. Height: 7 cm, width: 3.5 cm. The decoration, color palette, and construction of this piece are very similar to certain productions by Fratelli Toso, a historic Murano manufacturer. A charming piece that will naturally find its place in a collection of Italian glassware or Murano glass, but also in a refined decoration.
