This set of two Peter Ghyczy T53 side tables is an iconic example of European design from the 1970s. The design combines clean lines with the characteristic mix of materials for which Ghyczy is known, resulting in a timeless and architectural appearance.
The tables are crafted with a robust metal frame, finished with brass corner pieces that hold the thick, transparent glass top firmly in place. The contrast between the cool silver-colored metal, the warm brass accents, and the clear glass gives this set a refined character. The recognizable Ghyczy logo is subtly incorporated into the brass corners.
The set is in good condition, commensurate with age and use, where the original patina of the brass contributes to the authentic vintage charm. The construction is fully intact and functional.
