Originates from southwestern Iran (Fars Province)
Traditionally woven by the Qashqai nomads
These rugs belong to the group of so-called Gabbeh rugs. Hand-knotted from sheep's wool (often also goat's wool)
Used with natural plant dyes
Relatively coarse knotting with a low knot density
This results in a thick, soft, and durable rug
Part of the rug has a barely visible stain. Please examine the photos carefully.
