Paweł Rubaszewski was born in 1961 in Warsaw. In 1990, he graduated from the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He works at various scales, from small bronze forms to large outdoor sculptures, but the human being always remains at the center of his work. His sculptures refer to what is difficult to name in humankind and in human relationships, to what falls under the categories of experience or sensation.
