Rare “Fifty Fifty” / ON-OFF wall light object by Paul Talman, originally designed in the mid-1960s and produced/edited by Interaktives Licht Köln.
This iconic interactive light object features a square aluminium body with nine rotating spherical elements. Each sphere has a white “ON” side and a black “OFF” side, allowing the owner to create different visual compositions by turning the individual spheres.
The object works both as a functional light and as a kinetic wall sculpture. It is a strong example of post-war European design at the intersection of light, interaction, serial form and conceptual object art.
