Product description
This coffee table is a creation of designer Paul Michel, an icon of 1970s design. It is distinguished by its ingenious mechanism and luxurious aesthetic, typical of the Hollywood Regency era.
The structure is made of wood with a varnished elm burl veneer, offering a glossy finish and rich natural grain. The top slides open to reveal a concealed interior bar, equipped with a mirrored back and plexiglass storage for bottles and glasses. The square base is also covered in mirrors, creating an illusion of lightness and reflecting the room's surroundings. The designer's signature is visible on the internal structure.
The piece is in very good overall condition, retaining its original varnish and smooth mechanism. The materials reflect the quality of craftsmanship of the period.
