A charming hand-painted porcelain plaque depicting a pastoral scene in the 18th-century style, showing barefoot children in nature, presumably drinking a cup of goat's milk, framed by rocaille stucco and red silk velvet; signed Marthe G., March 1895; very good overall condition (significant wear to the red velvet).
