SB02 Pastoe Four Dining Chairs - Cees Braakman
Beautiful rare set of SB02 Pastoe (dining room) chairs, designed in 1950. The famous Dutch designer Cees Braakman clearly took his inspiration from the work of Charles & Ray Eames, after learning new folding techniques in the United States. The seat and back are made of bent birch wood with a veneer of teak. A beautiful piece of Dutch Design.
The set is in good vintage condition with the usual signs of age. One chair wobbles a little.
The chairs contain user marks appropriate to the age of the chairs. I have captured as much of it as possible in the photos. The frames are reinforced with glue and screws in places on the underside. Overall in nice vintage condition. One chair wobbles a little on 1 leg.
