Rare set of Papillon lounge chairs in a beautiful rust brown/orange color, designed in 1974 by Guido Maria Rosati for the Italian design house Giovannetti. Inspired by the graceful forms of a butterfly (Papillon), these iconic chairs combine sculptural design with optimal seating comfort.
The chairs are in a warm rust brown/orange fabric that fits perfectly within both modern interiors and eclectic or Mid - Century decor.
Both the back and seat are identical in size and interchangeable, making the chairs not only aesthetically pleasing, but also practical and playful in use.
Guido Maria Rosati, from the Italian region of Abruzzo, designed several timeless pieces in collaboration with Guzzini and others. His designs are known for their functionality, originality and sculptural character.
