This pair of vintage vases from KPM Porzellan Bavaria features a striking stone-effect decoration in bisque porcelain. The combination of a rough, stone-like texture and smooth, glazed rings gives these objects exceptional tactile and visual depth.
Made in Germany, the vases are distinguished by their precise handcraftsmanship, as evidenced by the base mark "Royal Porzellan Bavaria KPM Germany Handarbeit" (Royal Porcelain Bavaria KPM Germany Handcrafted). The pure white porcelain accentuates the sculptural design, which alternates between cylindrical and conical elements. The unglazed bisque surface of the stone decoration contrasts effectively with the glossy accents on the neck.
