This set of two vintage modernist sconces was produced in the 1950s in Italy. They were installed in 1952 in the stairwell of a large house as a set of 6. So please see the images in the listing. In this listing, we offer a set of 2 of these fixtures. In our other listing you will find a set of 4 of these lights.The lights are made of metal and solid brass. The rear wall mount is original white lacquer, surrounded by a brass rim. The front plate is made of solid brass and is screwed to the wall mount.Each fixture has two E14 sockets for the bulbs. The bulbs are covered by the brass shade with a hole pattern, which creates a beautiful atmosphere of indirect defused light. Both lamps are in their original condition, with normal marks, like small scratches and patina on the metal. The front plate has been polished. The electrification has been renewed and the three nuts of each lamp have been replaced.The origin of these lights is Italy, and recalls in the style and design of Stilnovo and Gio Ponti.Dimensions:Depth 11 cm Diameter 30 cmCondition:Good original condition, some normal traces of use, in perfect working condition.
