Crafted in Pécs, Hungary during the 1970s, these dining chairs are made from solid oak and cowhide leather. Designed and produced in small batches by independent artisans and garage workshops, they were originally distributed through the IDEA shop network, a state-supported initiative supporting Hungarian craftsmen.
These chairs showcase the heritage of Hungarian mid-century design, featuring a sturdy frame and authentic materials. Both are in very nice vintage condition, with signs of use consistent with age.
