Pair of “Taka” wall coat hooks designed by Cesare Rota Nodari for Acerbis in the 1970s, reflecting the Bergamo-based company’s research into reinterpreting functional objects through a clean and contemporary design language.
The design is based on a single bent metal tubular element that forms the entire structure of the hook. This continuous line creates a dynamic graphic mark on the wall, transforming a simple coat hook into a small design element capable of interacting with the surrounding architecture.
The upper section supports coats or garments, while the lower curve allows bags, accessories or additional clothing to be hung, increasing the functionality of the object without compromising its visual lightness.
The light blue lacquered finish enhances the purity of the line and reflects the typical approach of Italian design in the 1970s, where color, function and form coexist in a simple yet distinctive balance.
