This exceptional pair of low-seating armchairs was discovered in Ostend, Belgium, at a renowned vintage furniture shop. Typical of the boldness and optimism of the 1970s "Space Age" movement, they are distinguished by their rounded, architectural lines and their perforated backrests with a perfect ellipse.
This sculptural work in molded foam immediately evokes the spirit of avant-garde creations by design luminaries like Ron Arad, as well as the organic and luxurious aesthetic characteristic of the prestigious Italian design house Moroso. A true centerpiece for a contemporary or vintage interior.
Both armchairs are in absolutely perfect, near-new condition, which is extremely rare for textile pieces from this era.
