Pair of “Pluto” armchairs designed by Alf Svensson for Kovck Möbler, Malmö, produced in the late 1950s. The solid bent oak frame creates a soft, continuous profile, with integrated armrests set at a height of 57.5 cm and light proportions. The well-preserved cushions rest on a sprung seat that ensures comfort and support. Svensson, a key figure in Scandinavian modernism, expressed Nordic design through an elegant and functional language, aligned with Swedish mid-century production focused on organic lines and natural materials.
