Pair of Planters, Swans, Concrete, Early 20th Century – France
A magnificent pair of planters in the shape of beautiful concrete swans, made in France during the first quarter of the 20th century. The pieces exhibit a beautiful patina typical of the period and show signs of natural aging outdoors. Originally, the heads were polychrome, and traces of this can still be seen on the animals' beaks. The figures are exquisitely crafted; the swan's delicately curved neck radiates grace and strength, possessing great aesthetic beauty.
The base is perforated for drainage. These elegant pieces bring warmth, charm, and visual richness to any space, suitable for both indoors and outdoors, in gardens or on terraces. With a simple moss decoration, these planters are highly decorative and possess a refined Provençal character.
