A rare pair of "Moji" armchairs, designed in the late 1980s by Japanese architect and designer Shigeru Uchida for Poltrona Frau. Uchida, known for his architectural and minimalist approach, created the Moji series as a bold statement of geometric clarity and comfort.
The armchairs have a powerful cubic silhouette with wide armrests, a deep seat and black lacquered wooden legs that visibly extend beyond the body. Upholstered in original blue Pelle Frau® leather, they combine a sculptural look with the refined craftsmanship Poltrona Frau is known for.
Both chairs have remained authentic with original factory labels and details. The leather shows some natural patina and light wear on the armrests, which adds character without compromising comfort or texture. A timeless design piece that combines Italian craftsmanship with Japanese design sensibility.
