Product description
Elegant pair of Czechoslovak armchairs produced by Tatra in the 1960s. Featuring sculptural oak frames with dark stained armrests and beautifully balanced proportions, these chairs exemplify the refined simplicity of Central European modernism.
The chairs retain their original textured brown upholstery, which remains in excellent condition. The solid oak structure shows a rich patina and original finish, highlighting the craftsmanship and timeless character of the design.
The only restoration carried out was the replacement of the dust cover fabric beneath the seats, as the original material had deteriorated over time. All other elements, including the upholstery and wooden frames, remain original.
Comfortable, understated, and highly versatile, these armchairs work equally well in modern, Scandinavian, and vintage-inspired interiors.
