Splendid original pair of "Maralunga" armchairs designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina (1973). One of the greatest icons of Italian and international industrial design. Upholstered entirely in genuine black/dark anthracite leather. Featuring the iconic patented movable backrest, which raises and lowers seamlessly to adjust the height of the headrest and seating comfort. Condition: Structurally perfect, the backrest mechanisms are smooth and fully functional. The leather is soft and features its charming vintage patina with normal creases due to age, but there are no cuts, holes, or missing stitching. Price: €5,200 for the pair (2 armchairs). Authenticity: 100% original Cassina (trademark/label present under the frame).
