This is not just an armchair – it is a rescued icon of Polish mid-century design. The famous “Lisek” model, designed by Henryk Lis in the 1960s, is admired for its light, angled frame and timeless simplicity. Today it is recognized as one of the key examples of post-war Polish furniture and is increasingly featured in museum collections and international design publications. Each armchair is made of solid beechwood. In our workshop, it has been carefully restored: the wooden frame was renewed while keeping its original character, and both the seat and backrest were reupholstered with high-quality fabrics. Thanks to this process, the chair has regained its original charm and is ready to serve for decades to come. For us, restoration is more than craftsmanship – it is also our way of protecting the environment. By saving and restoring unique furniture instead of producing new items, we reduce waste and give timeless design a second life. Owning a “Lisek” armchair means surrounding yourself with history, heritage, and sustainability – a true European mid-century modern classic.
