A rare and captivating pair of vintage table lamps from the historic Lampoon series, designed by renowned architect and designer Aldo Cibic (founder of the Memphis Group with Ettore Sottsass) and produced by Foscarini. These lamps stand out for their unmistakable postmodern and organic style, which challenges traditional geometric forms. The bulbous diffuser is made entirely of high-quality, cased and etched (satin) glass, featuring a wavy, irregular surface dotted with distinctive raised protuberances. This unique glass texture allows for an extremely warm, soft, and enveloping light, completely eliminating glare. The light fixtures rest on a refined metal structure composed of a thin central stem and an exclusive, contoured base with sinuous, asymmetrical lines, echoing the fluid silhouette of the upper lampshade. When turned on, the amber hue and soft light transform this pair of lamps into true, atmospheric luminous sculptures. Technical Data and Condition: Manufacturer: Foscarini (Italy).
