Product description
This pair of armchairs is based on the Type C design by the celebrated Czech designer Jindrich Halabala, originally created in the 1930s and produced by UP Zavody. Halabala is one of the defining figures of Czechoslovak modernist furniture, and the Type C is a characteristic example of his functionalist approach — a refined, well-proportioned frame with a low, comfortable seat height of 44 cm. This pair has been fully refurbished and is ready for the next generation of use.
Condition and Character
Fully refurbished condition. Both chairs have been stripped down to their bare frames, fully restored and refinished, and professionally reupholstered with new high-quality padding and fabric. The frames are structurally sound and sturdy. Please review the detailed photos to inspect the exact finish and upholstery.
