Matching pair of original vintage Glashütte Limburg Model 2485 wall or ceiling lights, made in Germany circa 1960s–1970s.
Each light features a substantial clear moulded-glass shade with an elaborate raised floral, geometric and starburst pattern. The deep relief of the glass beautifully refracts the light, creating a warm and decorative glow across the surrounding wall or ceiling.
Their compact flush-mount form makes them suitable for use as wall sconces or ceiling lights. They work especially well in a hallway, entrance, bedroom, living room, dining area or any interior inspired by Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, modernist or eclectic design.

Condition
The lamps are in very good vintage condition.
The glass shades are in excellent condition, without chips or cracks. The metal mounting bases show light scratches, a darkened black patina and minor age-related surface wear. These traces are consistent with the age of the lamps and do not detract from their overall appearance.
Both E27 lamp holders are in good condition. The lamps have been carefully cleaned of superficial dirt and loose surface rust while retaining their original vintage character and patina.
As with all vintage electrical lighting, installation and a final safety inspection by a qualified electrician are recommended.
