A rare pair of Mid-Century Modern chandeliers manufactured by Dřevo Humpolec in Czechoslovakia during the 1970s. The set consists of a four-light and a three-light chandelier featuring beautifully shaped bentwood arms, chrome-plated metal fittings, and original satin glass shades. Their sculptural silhouette and organic form embody the distinctive aesthetic of Central European modernist lighting design. These chandeliers represent an exceptional combination of craftsmanship and timeless design, making them suitable for Mid-Century Modern, Scandinavian Modern, Danish Modern, Organic Modern, and contemporary interiors. Both fixtures retain their original character and are presented in very good vintage condition. The electrical system has been professionally renewed and accommodates both E26 and E27 bulbs, making the chandeliers fully compatible with US and European markets.
