Iconic Cab armchairs, designed by Mario Bellini for Cassina in the 1970s.
Made with the distinctive structure upholstered in black leather with armrests, these seats represent one of the most innovative projects of postwar Italian design. The leather, sewn like a tailored garment, envelops the frame and is fastened to the internal metal structure with zippers, creating a unique and embracing form.
The pair is in good overall condition: the underlying plastic shell is broken, but this does not affect the solidity or usability of the seat.
