Product description
Beautiful pair of handcrafted black pottery bowls from Chamba, Colombia, traditional Pijao craftsmanship, dating from the 1970s-1980s. Made of clay with a polished black finish, they feature a simple and elegant shape accentuated by two characteristic triangular handles. Minimalist, brutalist, organic aesthetic... One bowl measures 15cm in diameter, 20cm in maximum width (including handles), and 6cm in height; the other measures 15cm in diameter, 21cm in maximum width, and 7.5cm in height. Both are in good overall condition with no chips or cracks, showing slight surface wear with some crazing and a few signs of use consistent with their age. Approximately 500g each.
