A true masterpiece of Mid-Century Modern design. Designed in 1963 by Charles Pollock for Knoll International, this perfectly matched pair of "Executive" chairs is presented in the most timeless and elegant configuration: genuine black leather and black skai.
The genius of Pollock's design lies in the extruded aluminum "Rim" that seamlessly holds the structure together while acting as a bumper. Unlike standard fixed conference versions, these chairs feature a 360-degree swivel mechanism on a fixed 4-star base, offering absolute comfort and freedom of movement. As a premium vintage edition, the exterior shells are beautifully upholstered in black skai (vinyl) rather than standard plastic, elevating their luxurious, "Quiet Luxury" appeal.
■ CONDITION & DETAILS
Designer: Charles Pollock (Manufactured by Knoll).
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The genuine black leather tufted seats are supple, well-nourished, and display a beautiful natural patina without any tears. The chromed aluminum rims are bright and highly polished. There are some minor, normal signs of wear and friction on the black skai outer shells, consistent with their history and age, which do not detract from their stunning visual presence.
