A pair of copper Ultra lamps designed by Jo Hammerborg in 1963. Excellent quality, solid copper.
When lit, the lamp provides a soft, glare-free downward glow, making it ideal for low-hanging fixtures, while the glossy surface captures and reflects the contours of the surrounding space.
One of several themes that recurred in Jo Hammerborg's work at Fog & Mørup in the 1960s was that lamps were often made from three different metals – copper, brass, and aluminum.
Dimensions:
Diameter: 30cm
Height: 20cm
The lamps are in very good condition for their age. They show natural signs of wear.
The lamps have been thoroughly cleaned, and the cable has been replaced with a new, braided cable. A new metal canopy is included.
