A rare copper version of the “Kastor” pendel by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup (Denmark, 1960s).
An iconic example of Scandinavian modernism! This exceptional high-end piece is constructed from layered copper shells, elegantly separated by brass spacers, offering a spectacular sculptural presence. The interior is lacquered in orange, creating a warm and atmospheric glow. When illuminated, the lamp disperses light beautifully and projects a subtle star-like pattern onto the ceiling.
One of Hammerborg’s most striking and refined designs remaining in excellent condition, with only a light natural patina to the copper.
