Beautiful original Thonet Model 207 bench from the 1980s, complete with its authentic Thonet sticker. This iconic design showcases the brand’s mastery of bentwood craftsmanship, featuring three oval cane backrests, decorative circular rings, and elegant scroll-shaped arms. The seat and back panels retain their original woven cane, offering both comfort and timeless style.
Model 207 belongs to Thonet’s late 20th-century bentwood revival, when the company reintroduced expressive, decorative forms inspired by Art Nouveau and the Vienna Secession. Produced in the Thonet factories during the 1980s, this model is today sought after for its sculptural presence and refined detailing.
The bench is in good vintage condition, with some minor imperfections in the cane seat (almost invisible). A rare and eye-catching piece—ideal for an entryway, boutique, café, or as a statement accent in any interior.
