An exceptionally beautiful and rare original "Royal System" by Poul Cadovius from the 1960s. This iconic modular wall shelving system is one of the most significant designs of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design and impresses with its architectural lightness, excellent craftsmanship, and characteristic floating appearance. The system consists of: two large wall cabinets with sliding doors a floating glass display case several shelves integrated drawers and a rare secretary/bar module with an exceptionally textured front. The high-quality secretary module is particularly noteworthy, featuring finely crafted interior compartments, dovetail joints, and an elegant drop-down compartment. The textured front lends the ensemble a particularly luxurious and architectural effect. Crafted from beautifully grained teak with original wooden mounting strips and black metal brackets. The system has been professionally cleaned and is in very good vintage condition with only minor signs of age-related wear.
