Description
For sale is an exceptionally beautiful and original Meissen ceremonial plate/bowl from the renowned Meissen State Porcelain Manufactory.
This piece impresses with its deep cobalt blue background, the elaborate matte and burnished gold decoration, and the finely hand-painted German floral motif. It is ideal for collectors or as a stylish addition to a high-quality Meissen collection.
This is the historical form F152a, designed by Ernst August Leuteritz (1818–1893). The underside bears the original underglaze blue Meissen crossed swords mark with a grinding line (second choice), as well as the shape number F152a, the decoration number 332g, the underlined painter's number 26, and the original Meissen year mark for 1951.
