Beautiful, original first-generation Papillona floor lamp, designed in 1975 by the famous Italian architect and designer Tobia Scarpa for Flos. This model is a prime example of Italian postmodern design. The sleek black column is interrupted by a subtle red accent line, in which the original slide dimmer is perfectly integrated. The fan-shaped shade of textured prismatic glass provides a warm, atmospheric, and diffused indirect light. Features & Specifications: Manufacturer: Flos, Italy (Marked in the shade: Flos Papillona Design Registered Made in Italy). Designer: Tobia Scarpa. Period: approx. 1975-1980. Dimensions: approx. 192 cm high x 26 cm wide x 24 cm deep. Light source: Halogen R7s (included). Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal superficial signs of age. The lamp is fully functional, tested, and cleaned. The red plastic holder clamps and the glass are in excellent condition without cracks or chips.
