Beautiful, 100-year-old authentic Dutch stained glass window with early Art Deco influences (approx. 1920).
This atmospheric architectural element originally came from a characteristic 1920s house in the historic Segbroek district in The Hague.
The window features a magnificent, symmetrical geometric composition strongly reminiscent of the designs of the Hague School and Amsterdam School. Features & Materials:
The panel is constructed from various types of artisan textured glass, which creates a beautiful, lively light refraction. Warm amber and honey-yellow base tones are combined with deep green and bright red accents. The stained glass is housed in a sturdy, original wooden frame.
The frame has deliberately been left in its authentic, lived-in condition (with a magnificent patina and visible signs of age) to fully preserve its original, historical character.
Condition and Quality: The glass and lead network are in good, solid condition, and the window is completely rattle-free. Ideal for use as an atmospheric light catcher (to hang in front of an existing window), as a unique interior object on a dresser, or for reuse in a renovation project.
