Product description
Color etching by Orfeo Tamburi (edition 91/100), dating to the 1960s and 1970s. The work belongs to a refined graphic series in which the female nude is reinterpreted through a concise and vibrant language. Trained in the Roman School, Tamburi (1910-1994) inherited its interest in humble subjects and melancholic atmospheres. However, artistic maturity came with his move to Paris: there, under the influence of Cézanne, the artist developed a "poetic realism" characterized by essential, geometric forms. In this composition, the engraver's technical rigor merges with a nervous line and soft colors, transfiguring the anatomy into a suspended emotion. The result is a modern figurative aesthetic, where the precision of the line interacts harmoniously with minimalist color fields, rendering the subject not a simple figure, but a pure lyrical expression. - Plate 26x20 cm - Sheet 49x34.5 cm - Signature and numbering (Copy 91/100) in pencil on the front - Certificate of provenance and authenticity - Excellent condition - Sold unframed ****************************** Color etching by Orfeo Tamburi (edition 91/100), dating to the 1960s or 1970s.
