This striking Space Age pendant lamp from the 1970s is a real eye-catcher. The lamp has the characteristic UFO shape with a deep red plexiglass shade and a metal band around the center. It is a variation of the well-known Dijkstra globe lamp, but with a saucer shape.
When lit, the red plexiglass diffuses a warm, atmospheric light that looks both retro and modern.
The lamp is in very good vintage condition, with only a few minor scratches commensurate with its age. A beautiful piece of design history that instantly adds ambiance to any interior!
