Product description
This is the ‘Komeet’ ceiling lamp by W.H. Gispen for GISO. An opal glass lamp on a metal base. Approximately 18 cm high and in working condition. The glass consists of 2 layers (opaline and a layer of crystal), has no damage, and shows light signs of use on the metal base commensurate with age.
An Art Deco design by the renowned Dutch designer Willen Hendrik Gispen for the lamp wholesaler GISO, which still produces lamps today, inspired by designs from the 1920s-1930s.
